Please Look at This Poster

I'm having a sort of hyperventilating seizure.  I just wanted to pass it on.

Now click on this link, and look at the bigger version.  Try not to scream.

I mean, I've been getting all kinds of stoked up about Mockingjay (more on that later), but this poster and these stills kind of broadsided me today, and I haven't quite recovered.  I thought I'd share the breathlessness.

Anyone else experiencing alarming physical symptoms at the sight of this poster?  How about at the thought of Mockingjay?  (Six days and counting...)

  1. I haven't been keeping up with Harry since the second movie. I haven't even read the books! Sorry *wince* Why is this so frightening? I can't see the pic properly as I have my netbook and the screen is small.

Are you a writer? Then you MUST enter this CONTEST!

  2. Oh, not frightening so much as makes you want to throw up with excitement. The last book is so-so-so dark. Oh so worth reading! And from the trailer and the stills, oh so worth seeing as well, I think.

  3. TOTALLY psyched for both! I pre-ordered Mockingjay. You know I will be at that book store at the crack of dawn! : ) And the poster for HP? YES. Wow! Can't believe it. I'm so curious about how they're going to split up book 7. It's gonna be good no matter what. Ralph Fiennes terrifies me. Thanks for stirring the pot of excitement!

  5. Truly, cannot wait!!
I need to own them but nothing beats watching the movies on the big screen.
Imagine not having read the Potter books? That would mean you could devour the pages without knowing what was waiting for you. That is quite a thought.

WV: Perse ? I really thought JK had bigger, more noble, plans for him.

  6. Ahhh! for HP7.
(And an "eek!" for Mockingjay! I'm Team Gale, too. ;)

  7. Molly: I am right there with you. I'll be knocking on the doors of the bookstore as soon as they open. And as for HP, I read that they plan to end the first movie with Voldemort desecrating Dumbledore's tomb for the Elder wand. At first this seemed way too late to me, but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. And I agree. Ralph Fiennes is fabulously terrifying.

    Nicole: Ohmygosh, I know. Eeek!

Elaine: Every time I see someone lose their Potter virginity I am jealous. I'd love to go back. But then, every time I read them, I pick up on something new that I've never noticed before. And that's kind of hard to beat.

Faith: Isn't it nice to have such wonderful things to "eek!" about? I'm glad you support Gale. I've been finding him somewhat undervalued in my circles.

    POST SCRIPT:
I'll post on this closer to the date, but I'd like to designate a blog-post to being a MOCKINGJAY SPOILER DISCUSSION SAFE SPOT beginning on Tuesday the 24th. So stay tuned for more info, but I think it would be great if we could "rope off" an area, so to speak, where people could discuss the book whenever they've finished reading without fear of ruining it for others. Thoughts?
